upgrading Itunes to the newest version out... 7.0.2 i think

i tried upgrading this itunes manually and had it installed but now it wont open....every time i try i get an error

"Newer version of quicktime required

quicktime version 7.1 is installed, i tunes requires quicktime version 7.1.3 or later.
Please reinstall itunes."

i tried manually updating quicktime and the error will not stop, i even then tried reinstalling the itunes like 2-3 times and still no resolve... i cant open itunes and access ANY of my music. i cant belive it's this hard to use apple software when updating. i mean wow. any body out there that can help me...even like some apple people who made the software. that would be great...help me out.

The files, quicktime.qts and quicktimeVR.qtx are deleted off of my administrator proveleges account and my regular account. Quicktime is still in add and remove programs, on both accounts, and it wont delete. Quicktime is probably one of the only things holding me back right now. It wont delete!! Is there something im not doing?
