How attach multiple documents to the same email?

How can I attach multiple documents to the same outgoing email?

Aloha Bob. The only thing I'd add is that, when you tap to add the second attachment, the options may be truncated, and you have to tap the ">" at the end of the list to see the Add Attachment. Also, I seem to be able to attach files only from iCloud drive, which I don't use, or Box, which I do. Can you attach files from other apps on the iPad? I mean directly from Mail, not by sharing to Mail from the other app.

Thanks for you patience. Double checking, the way I described uses iCloud Drive. To add an attachment to an email from Numbers it appears you still can only send one attachment at a time. A second attachment would need iCloud Drive.

Before IOS 8 and iCloud Drive it was impossible to share folders between apps. The sandbox design wouldn't permit it.
