ios 10.3 data network 2g/3g/4g

Hello, I have a problem after recent update.. i cant choose what network my phone to connect 2g/3g/4g

when there is a poor 3g signal but good 2g.. still the phone is looking for 3g and i am not getting call with less signal strength but still the phone is looking for 3g .. i dont have option to choose 2g

In earlier version of iosi had some thing like settings--> mobile data --> mobile data options ---> veoice & data --> 4g

3g 2g

I can choose any of these when the device is not able to choose which type of network to connect to.. but the latest update does not contain these options.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.2.1

They wont understand any problem and operating in different world.. its our fault to buy iphone.. better to go for android from next time.. they guys pricing the phone as i they made with gold but nothing gives back

No it won't. The only thing that would help is going back to an older version of carrier settings.

Use vodafone ... u will get option to swith 2 g

If you are using Airtel it is an issue with them. Apple cannot change it.

If the carrier is responsable for this setting, why can i set my samsung galaxy s7 for 2g, and my iphone 6s ios 10.3.2 NOT?

There isn't any such person. An executive at Airtel decides what goes into the carrier settings for Apple and provides it to Apple and then Apple pushes it out.

You need to contact the executives at Airtel and have their engineers change their carrier settings file and send it to Apple to they can distribute it.

You can wait for all the Apple updates in the world and it will never happen. Did you ever think the people at the service centre were not telling you the truth?
