Alphabet keys not working/malfunctioning in MacBook Pro 13 inch?

In my latest Mac book Pro(with TouchID and TouchBar) after enabling mouse keys some alphabet keys on my built in keyboard are not working. But according to Apple support only number keys should not work.

And I recently updated my MacBook from MacOS Sierra version 10.12.3 to version 10.12.4

I am using 13 inch model with intel core i5. Intel pro iris 550 graphics.

This is the Mac Pro support forum not the MacBook Pro forum, so perhaps a post over there might get more response.

In any event, what you're experiencing sounds a lot like this Some Keys not working after Sierra Update (Only for specific profile) or do you possible have any software that does keyboard remapping or have setup some special keyboard shortcuts or ...

Try resetting the NVRAM: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063.

You have 90 days from date of purchase of free phone support. I'd use it if you're still eligible. Otherwise, you may want bring it to an Apple Store "genius" bar for diagnosis:
