Youtube doesn't allow you to play music in the background, as it could be used as a free music-streaming program (what im aware of)
- Have you always been able to leave the app, and have music in the background? Sounds completely strange to me.

Why did this all of a sudden stop??? We need a workaround. I'm not paying extra money for this simple feature
Backgrounds play now works only if you enable "request desktop site". Prior to 10.3.1 it was working normally.

no it's fine i understand but whenever i try to do that on my iphone 7 it goes to try and play music on my phone instead of youtube .
This method didn't work as i downloaded both and no positive results
Worked for me for maybe 2 days then stopped. I think Apple is monitoring our responses and work arounds :D
Hi, for me neither firefox nor chrome worked.
Then i downloaded the browser app dolphin, it works with that!!
