Magic keyboard 2 CAPS LOCK light does not light up anymore

RESOLVED. I am not sure why but when I selected keyboard preferences, keyboard, and modifier keys they were all set to do nothing. Not sure how they got to those selections. We had a previously paired magic wireless keyboard and it was working fine. When I set the options for caps lock to caps lock, control key to control, option key to option, and command key to command everything started working.

Just tried an experiment. Paired with iPhone. Caps Lock key works as it should. This is an iMac issue. If you try the key before you login the caps lock key works. After you login it no longer works 😟

If the machine is still in warranty you could get the repair done free. If not BDAqua is correct.

I don't think there's much you can do about that.

ours does not light up or work. Replaced keyboard with new one and it has the same problem. This is not a keyboard hardware problem. This is a software issue with the iMAC and OS 10.12.5
