When I try to print a map with directions in Google maps on Safari 10.1, it won't print. i have an iMac using Sierra iOS 10.12.4. Without directions and just printing a Google map with a single location seems to print just fine.
Any suggestions? Apple's senior tech support couldn't help me...........just saying.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
Chrome works just fine. I was just hoping someone had a better answer.
BTW, printing the same directions in Apple Maps on Safari also yields unsatisfactory results. The map on the screen delineates the various modes of transportation (walking, bus, train, etc); however, the printed version does not differentiate those same modes on the map. Not good.

I have this exact same problem in the past week or so-- maybe longer. New MBP-2016 with Touchbar, Safari 10.1 and Mac OS 10.12.4 -- just a blank spot where the map should go-- have tried including background - other page sizes - nothing works!
Please post if there is a solution here-- may take an update to Safari or???? (I will try Chrome now but I use Safari 99.9% of the time…)

Try another browser as a test.
Firefox 10.9 or higher
Opera Browser 10.9 or higher
SeaMonkey 10.9 or higher
Waterfox 10.8 or higher
Ditto. It works with Chrome, but Safari just leaves a blank space where the map should go.
Also have this problem since last update. Won't work in firefox either.
I have the same problem, but with Chrome and Firefox works, not with Safari 10.1.
I hope Apple to fix this soon.

You could take a screenshot of the map you want to print (shift+cmd+4), open it in preview and then print it off from there. Obviously a makeshift solution, but it gets the job done.
So what's the use of support if there is none???
