I am making an Apple Photos book for a friend. I live in a different country to her, and it would be silly to pay the postage to me, and then to redirect it and pay international postage again. Is this possible?

You could try Presto Photo. It can print iPhoto, Aperture, Photos books and ship internationally. People who tried it, reported that the print quality was quite good.

It is complicated and a lot of trouble. The Apple Print Products store ships the books only in the country of the store where you ordered the book. You would have to order the book from the Print Products Store in the home country of your friend. To do that you need an AppleID with this country as the billing address and a banking account and credit card valid in that country to use as the payment method for that other AppleID. Then set up this country in the Photos Preferences > Print Product Store and the account information in Photos > Print Products Store Account and order the book.
It will be much easier to have the book send to your home address, so you can check the quality and then forward it to your friend or send it back to Apple, if you are not satisfied.
Thank you Leonie...If that is so it would probably be better to get it printed locally..as the two international shipping costs would make an expensive book quite exorbitant. I appreciate your reply.
