Screen sharing crash

I try to do a screen sharing session from the application Screens on iOS to my iMac, and it connects , but the connection is shut down after a few seconds. I get a crash report on the Mac, which I include below. This only happens when I connect from outside my network, not locally, and it doesn't happen with my other two Macs, even remotely. I'm using a secure connection over SSH. I have shown the crash report to the Screens developers, and they think this has nothing to do with their software. Any ideas?

(Trying to post the crash report here, I'm told it contains invalid characters. How can I make it available?)

You can post the crash report elsewhere and provide a link to it, but it's really a moot point. Their software; they own the crashes and whatever information the crash reports can provide to them. There is very little chance it will make sense to anyone else. In the very unlikely event that it does, it will implicate a conflict with other software. That is the only potential factor you may be able to control.

Of course not. Their software must be perfect, right? 😝

If the Screens app is crashing, it's obviously up to its developer to fix it. Apple's interest in third party software is nil.

As the crash report shows, it is not any third-party software which is crashing, but the screen sharing agent built into macOS. I'll paste parts of the report here, and see if that works.
