My son bought me lately an iPad Pro and registered it under his Apple ID. I want to change/remove his registeration on the new IPad to my Apple ID account. I still want to have under my Apple ID my IPhone and my old IPad.
Does anyone have a link to a step by step walk through. Thanks.

To log out of your son's Apple ID and into yours, open Settings and click your Apple ID at the top of the main Settings screen, then scroll down and click Sign Out. It will ask for your son's Apple ID password if he turned on Find My iPhone. It will then make sure you want to log out. Then you will be presented with a login screen to log in with your Apple ID.

If you want to register the new iPad Pro under your Apple ID account. You will need to sign out his iCloud account from the iPad Pro, and sign in yours. Then this iPad will be registered under you Apple ID. And you will be able to check the device information from AppleID.Apple.com under "Devices" section.

If you have an older ipad go to iCloud back up now over your wifi
On ipad pro turn off find my ipad
Then go to settings down to reset then restore back to factory settings
Then it's ready for new owner set up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes unless you want to set up as new.
