Hi,

It's not just your Wi-Fi connection that's the issue, it's your internet download speeds. macOS Recovery. requires a broadband high speed connection.

Test your download speed here > http://speedtest.xfinity.com

If it's less than 10mbps, you may have a difficult time using macOS Recovery.

If you can't start up from macOS Recovery

Newer Mac computers and some older Mac computers automatically try to start up from macOS Recovery over the Internet when unable to start up from the built-in recovery system. When that happens, you see a spinning globe instead of an Apple logo during startup. To manually start up from macOS Recovery over the Internet, hold down Option-Command-R or Shift-Option-Command-R at startup.

If you still can't start up from macOS Recovery, and you have a Mac that is able to start up completely, you might be able to create an external Mac startup disk to start up from instead.

Yeah, maybe I can help you uday. Internet recovery with wifi only is gonna be slow, depending on your router's speed,eg 802.11n wifi is around 350 megs/sec,and if the OS is 2-3 gigs In size, yeah,it's gonna be a heck of a wait. You can try plugging i an Ethernet cable and setting the network connnection to Ethernet and turning wifi off, then try Internet Recovery.i guess you've tried booting from the Recovery Partition( command/apple key & r) only, rather than command, option,

Hope this helps
