Keep notes in reverse alphabetical order?

I have a bunch of notes that need to be sorted in reverse alphabetical order, but every time I edit one of them it moves to the top and then I need to spend 10 minutes reorganising everything back into alphabetical order... help?

Hi there, Bai_Mi!

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. After reviewing your post, I understand that you are trying to sort your Notes in a specific manner, but see that every time you edit one, the order is being changed. I'd be happy to help!

Notes has three separate sort options you can choose in the Preferences (Notes > Preferences > Sort Notes By): Date Edited, Date Created, or Title. Date Edited will bring the most recently edited note to the top. Date Created will keep the newest created notes at the top. Title will sort the notes alphabetically by their title. This alphabetical sorts A-Z in a top-to-bottom fashion, however. There is no option for Notes to sort in reverse alphabetical order.

Have a good day.
