will apple repair cracked screen with water damage?

My phone screen is cracked and I want to get it fixed but I think I've heard that Apple won't fix it if the iPhone has water damage. It's been cracked for a little while and I wouldn't be surprised if the white dots have turned red from water damage. My phone works completely fine it's just the screen that is cracked.

No. If the liquid indicators in the phone are tripped, the only option Apple will offer you is complete out of warranty replacement of the phone.

I see that there is water damage on the spot by the sim card but my phone works perfectly fine.

It's up to Apple, not us, but if there is any indication of water damage Apple will usually only replace the phone.
