Macbook Air White Lines on Screen

I am running MacOs Sierra on a 2016 Macbook Air. I see these white lines that come and go while scrolling or watching videos. There is no specific pattern, they can come and go whenever there is a movement of the mouse or background image/video. Please see the attached screenshot to see what I am talking about. The same white line also appears in the address bar of Safari browser when I enter a website URL, and while switching between windows. Has anyone else had this issue?

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), iOS 10.3.1

Thanks, mate. I have reset the VNRAM for now, and no flickers right away. I am going to connect it to an external display and see. I'll probably watch for a few days and report back by this weekend.
