How to transfer music from old iPod to new iPod?

Hi,

I have just purchased a new iPod touch and I am trying to transfer all my music from my old iPod touch to this new one. I am finding it really really hard to find a simple answer anywhere of how to do this. How do I do this easily and without having to pay and register for a transfer software if possible?

My old iPod touch is version 6.1.6 and my new one is 10.2.1, if that helps.

Hi Brenden,

Still having a lot of trouble, I followed the instructions in the article for transfer using itunes backup but it only transferred photos and voice memos? I really just want all my music onto my new ipod, how do I transfer my music to my new ipod. There must be an easy way.
