Update Apple ID Settings stuck

I am unable to get my iPhone 7+ to update the Apple ID Settings after updating the iOS. No matter what I do and how many times I "verify" the phone, it just keeps getting stuck. How do I fix this? Aghrrr.

So I was having the same issue with my iPhone 7. I did the whole restart and everything, but still having the same issue. I just signed out of my iCloud, and resigned in and it went away. Settings> First item (Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store) click that> very bottom sign out then resign in and it should take care of that issue...

Hello EllenS,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are unable to get your iPhone 7 Plus to update the Apple ID settings after updating the iOS software. I'm happy to help assist you with this.

First, let's start with some app-specific troubleshooting and force close the Settings app to see if that helps. It's possible that the Settings app isn't responding to your request, and often a force close can help with this type of app issue: Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .

If you still have an issue after that, please try to reinstall the iOS software on your iPhone. Since this just happened after you updated the iOS software, a reinstall can help. First, use this article to make sure that you have a backup of your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch .

Then, use this article to reinstall iOS: If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . Note: This article is intended to be for a different issue but following steps 1-5 will help you reinstall iOS without erasing data.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers.
