2017 com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error

Looks like an old issue has popped up ...

Cannot export.

Running latest SIERRA and latest IMOVIE

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.4)

Frustrating to be sure.

Here's another thread that offers some solutions that worked for some but not others.

com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1 with iMovie !!

Hi,

Here's what the Apple Community Specialists recommend. Don't know if it works.

Imovie error: com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1

Thanks - didn't work. Will try it again but no issues with restarting with SHIFT key down, logged in and then restarted "regular" - but iMovie reports same error.
