OneDrive won't launch on Mac Book Pro

I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it 3 times, as well as completely shutting down the computer and restarting it.

The app icon appears on the launchpad and on the finder but when I go to open it nothing happens, it doesn't open AT ALL. The first time I try to open it after I download it, the icon appears on the "dock" for one second and then disappears.

If anyone has dealt with this and found a way to fix it, id appreciate any help!

Thanks

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.3.1

Make sure your system meets or exceeds the specifications for One Drive

if problems persist create a new administrative account, boot into that account and download and install the application from that account.
