What does the brown tint to email messages stored in a mailbox list mean?
What does the brown tint to email messages in a mailbox list indicate? I can find no reference in the literature about this color indication of a message's status. I use mailboxes to store important emails from clients permanently that I know I might have to reference someday. I use this method and do NOT archive these important messages. Sometimes when I open up a mailbox, several of the listed messages have a brown tint to them in the summary list. I can still select them and the are intact and I can use them to reference in a new email. And age does not appear to be the cause, as some of these tinted messages are dated earlier than later ones stored in the same mailbox. Thanks.
