Purchase invoices from Apple
Hello!
I am trying to find a section somewhere in this vast Apple chasm where I can download all of my purchase invoices from the last years for my accountant. Where is it and why is it so hard?
Thank you

Open iTunes, and in the menu bar across the top you should find the "account" tab. Click there and then select "view your account" Scroll down to "purchase history" click on "see all" (it may ask you to sign in again). On the next window you should see two "range select" dropdown menus, select the date ranges you want. From here scroll down to the transactions that you need copies of and select the "order number" highlighted in blue on the right side of the transaction listed. This should expand the transaction revealing a "Resend" link highlighted in blue. The system will send you the receipt via email. This is the only way I was able to get the actual invoices. I'm not aware of a more simplistic way to download directly from Apple's site. Its frustrating I know! Good Luck!
The emailed receipt/invoice is all that iTunes sends
Which is the closest that you can get if you have not saved your email receipts from Apple. Search your email inbox, or other folder if you have saved them somewhere else, but if you cannot find them, they you can only go back to your purchase history. It is up to you to save your receipts.
It is not that simple. I save all of the order confirmations I get from Apple (for work), but the totals do not match the amounts on my credit card statement. Instead of one amount on my statement, I might have 6 smaller amounts, each of which includes tax so it does not match any of the numbers shown on the order confirmation. This is a huge problem and time waster, as I am required to provide an invoice for every charge on my statements.
Apple does not email the invoices for the smaller amounts charged to my card. If they did, they could easily be saved or found in email.
Contact Apple about it, there is obviously nothing that I nor anybody else on here can do about it.
I’m assuming that if the purchases are within the last 90 days you’ve tried seeing what the ‘report a problem’ site issues as a duplicate receipt.
Apple does not email the invoices for the smaller amounts charged to my card.
Yes they do, you get an emailed receipt for every (non-free) purchase (multiple purchase, if done on the same day, may be combined into a single receipt which lists them separately), and they include taxes.
the confirmations/invoices I get from Apple for a single purchase of multiple items paid by credit card do not match the amounts charged to my credit card. The credit card charges may add up to the larger number on the confirmation, but I don’t get individual invoices for each amount shown on my statement.
Is your card issuer applying charges for the purchases e.g. are iTunes purchases in one currency but your card in another ? My emailed receipts always list each item individually, and what is shown matches what I've paid and matches what shows on my iTunes account's purchase history.
These are work expenses and not related to my I iTunes account. There are no additional charges, if the entire amount of my one order = $100 + tax, my statement might show 4 different charges for which I don’t have separate invoices like $50 + tax For three items; $25 + tax for two; $15 + tax; and $5+tax - even though they were ordered at the same time and arrived together.
I didn't say I couldn't figure it out! The point is that these are work purchases on my work credit card. It is required that I supply one invoice for every charge that appears on my credit card statement. Besides, if there are many items on the order, it can take some time to figure out which items are included in each charge, especially since the charge includes taxes. If Apple is going to split orders into smaller ones, they should provide individual invoices for each charge to credit cards.
Did you manage? I have the same problem but it seems that Apple doesn't have real invoices. My accountant was laughing when I printed the "invoice" email...
I also try to find my Apple invoices.
The answer by roaminggnome concerns purchase history, not invoices, which is what the question was asking for
If it's combining tax into one line it should be simple enough to work out how much applies to each item.
