Will Sims 3 work on my mid-2012 Macbook Pro?
For years I played Sims 3 with no issues, expansions and all on my Macbook Pro. At some point I had updated my computer (I'm almost positive it was the update to Yosemite) and all of a sudden I started getting an error message and couldn't even open the game. I tried everything I could to get it to work and it just wouldn't so I finally gave up. Now about a year ago I purchased a new Macbook Pro but it was the same exact model. I didn't bother trying the game again until now, seeing as there have been so many updates since then and I am now using macOS Sierra instead of Yosemite.
I've seen some people say they play Sims 3 with no issues at all on their Macbook Pro, then I see other people who say it simply isnt possible because a Mac doesn't have the requirements to play it. I'm hoping someone can tell me if it would be possible on my specific Mac to play the game again. If not, what would I need to change if it is possible?
