I am considering buying Excel for an iPad mini (iOS10.3.1) at my work. I would like to be able to edit spreadsheets on the iPad in the field, and also be able to edit/do calculations on my desktop PC (Windows 7 Enterprise, running Office Professional Plus 2010). Is this possible? Thanks!
I have not used this combination of devices and excel. It should work. The ios version of excel is slimmed down.

This does indeed work. I have done it with Office 2007, Office 2010, and Office 365. Use a service like Box, Dropbox, or OneDrive to store your files.
