no groups button in contacts
I have no "groups" button in the upper left corner of contacts.

Hi. You cannot create a group using iOS Contacts. You can do it by logging in to icloud.com in a web browser (request the desktop site). If your contacts are synced with iCloud, the group will appear on the iPad.
