Apple Watch
During general daily use, it should not typically be necessary to turn your Apple Watch off.
Rather than doing so, you may find it more convenient to place your Apple Watch on the charger when you are not wearing it.
Apple advises that Apple Watch can be charged whenever you like. The watch cannot be overcharged and the battery will not suffer any harm from regular charging. Charging will stop automatically when the battery is fully charged and start again if and when required due to ongoing battery usage.
Follow Apple's safety and handling instructions and also note that:

Hi
It is not currently possible to completely disable the Emergency SOS feature, such that the slider is removed from the screen that is shown when turning off Apple Watch.
To turn off the "hold to auto call" function (but not the slider-based function):
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Emergency SOS - turn off Hold to Auto Call.
