How to use a Sony Hi Fi system with iMac?

I intend to buy an iMac which comes with a Headphone out option in the back. Inside the iMac user guide it is mentioned that the same headphone out can be used as SPDIF (Sony/Philips digital) output.

I also plan to buy the below music system from Sony http://www.sony.co.in/electronics/hi-fi-systems/mhc-gzx33d

My question is can I use this music system with iMac or not?

If yes do I need any special cable or normal cable accessory that comes with this Sony music system will do the job?

Hi, the sony Hi Fi system I am talking (MHC-GZX33D) has both Bluetooth and PC audio in. I spoke to sony and they told me to use the iMac using a 3.5 mm to RCA cable ( 3.5 mm Jack - going to iMac and 2 RCA cables going to Sony). That's confirmed however I just need to know if iMac will support the same or not. Can you help me out in this regard?

You can use the Sony with the iMac but only with a Bluetooth wifi connection, the Mac and the Sony have Bluetooth built in, but there is no physical audio input connection on the Sony.

Sorry, but a quick look at the manual indicates no physical

input connectivity on the device and it is only a Bluetooth source,

i.e. it can only output to Bluetooth headphones, speakers, etc.
