To print to pdf in iOS 10, select print from the sharing menu, then pinch apart on the print preview that appears. This produces a full-screen preview. Tap the sharing icon in the top corner of the full-screen preview, and select an app to save the pdf.

Hi dfly. If you're using an app from the printer supplier, you can remove the app. But, if you have an AirPrint-capable printer, the iPad will always see it when you select print. What are you trying to achieve?

Make sure your destination printer is airprint compatible, actively running airprint and not in standby mode. it also needs to be on the same network as the iOS device. If you can establish all that and still cant print do a cold restart the iPhone and try agian.
