Getting past parental lock

Ok so when I was younger my parents put a parental lock on my phone, now that I am older I would like to remove it but they don't remember the passcode. I know that there is no way to get into it without knowing the passcode and I know that if I reset my phone the passcode just goes with the Apple ID. I really want to save my pictures, music, etc so I don't want a whole new Apple ID. Someone please help me!

The Apple ID does not carry the Parental Lock passcode with it.

Only the Backup does.

You can sign in with the Apple ID just fine, and the passcode will not be put back unless you restore the backup.

Use parental controls on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If you lose or forget your Restrictions passcode, you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to remove the Restrictions passcode.

You have to erase the device in recovery mode. After that, you cannot restore from any backup that was made while the restrictions passcode was in place - doing that will just restore the forgotten passcode again.

So if your only backups were all made with the restrictions passcode in place, you will need to set up the device as a new device. Then login to the iTunes, App and iBook stores and re-download your content. You can re-sync contacts, calendars and notes from iCloud. But you cannot restore your data from the backup, since it has the forgotten code in it.
