how come i havent got none of the emoji updates?

That one I can find. Hopefully you should see it in the same place, at the start of the symbols section which you get to by tapping the indicated icon on the bottom row. Some of the sections will have more emoji than can be shown at once so you need to scroll the keyboard sideways to see more.

A little Google-fu suggests that 10.3.1 hasn't introduced any new emoji, and that these are due in June. I asked for a specific example so that I could see if I had one of the items you think you should have, but don't. All the new ones gives no point of reference, new from when? 😕

Looks like you are using a third party keyboard.

Try selecting a different keyboard, like the default language keyboard from Apple instead and then try the Emojis again-.

3rd Party Keyboards are maintained by their developers and its up to them to update them to include the new Emojis.

How about a screenshot from Settings>General>Keyboards of the keyboards that you have installed, please. How many do you have installed? I wonder if this is some kind of interference from these additional keyboards.

Glad you were able to correct it. I'm guessing you can try adding the other keyboards back individually to see if they would work, but like Idris about Bitmoji, you may want to leave that off, but you can try the TouchPal to see if it will work and not interfere with your standard emoji.

OK. Which model iPhone? Mine is a 6+. Which region are you in? Assuming there aren't any special cases there that would explain the difference see this method to refresh your device.

Do have any of the other symbols shown in my image above? I can't see any good reason why the 6 would have fewer. 😕
