Boss BR-1600

I just purchased an IMAC. Can I use my BR-1600 to interface with the IMAC?
I want to be able to record my guitar through the BR-1600. Is it possible and if so do I use the USB or digital out port?

You should be able to just copy the recorded files via usb. I don't believe you'll be able to use the digital out port unless you had another audio interface - I don't have one so I can't say for sure, but this looks to be the case.

Still its not a bad solution, record with the 1600CD and copy to the iMac for post production
