My Bluetooth is interfering with Apple TV

I have hearing aids that are connected two (2) bluetooth devices; one connected to my iPhone, one connected to my TV. All are controlled from the ReSound Smart App on my iPhone. When I activate my Apple TV the wifi necessary to operate the Apple TV dies, OK it drops from 24.95 Mbps to .08 Mbps. I am seeking help to eliminate this issue. It becomes a PITA to connect to the Apple TV. Does ANY person have an idea, suggestion, or solution.

NO! I do enjoy hearing so unplugging, which eliminates the problem, is not a solution and it creates this techy problem.

Hi. Is the Bluetooth transmitter on the TV relatively close to Apple TV? Could you move them farther apart? Bluetooth uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency band as WiFi, and it frequency hops, so it will hit the WiFi fairly often. If you cannot make it work by separation, could you create separate WiFi networks (in the router) for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands? Then you could connect Apple TV on 5 GHz and it should work better.

Thank you, I have both the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. The Airport Express which is networked to my Extreme is connected to the Apple TV on the 5 GHz network. The Bluetooth transmitter is as far away as the connection wiring will allow. I created the 5 GHz that last year hoping to solve the problem. Could the bluetooth transmitter be overpowering the wifi signals? If so how do I control the bluetooth transmitter?

I have also consulted with Spectrum/TWC during that same period - they only deal with transmissions to the box.

Thank you
