Why do I have to purchase logic Pro again?

I purchased Logic Pro on December 14, 2012. But everything on my computer was erased two months ago when I had the hard drive replaced with no backup. I found Logic Pro in my purchase history, but Apple wants me to buy it again for $199.99, and I already purchased it. Why doesn't it just download like everything else that I already purchased?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Perhaps you had a 5 year old version of Logic that is no longer available. What version were you running? Logic 9? Logic 10 was a paid update. Always make a backup before updating or reinstalling your OS drive.

You might try contacting Apple, and see if they can supply you the version of Logic you purchased. This is a User only forum, while we can commiserate with you, no one here can do anything.
