Photo crashes when trying to print photo book

Hi everyone!

Same problem here since few days, in Photos 1.5 and OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) on a mid-2015 Retina 15" MBP. All was working fine one or two weeks ago, but since last week-end (at least), Photos crashes when I click on "Buy the book" button. I've thought about a problem with corrupted photos or Photos library but the exported PDF of the book is OK, without any bug, and I've tested with some former already printed books (ordered last week and one month ago) and Photos crashes too with these orders (I did not encounter any problem during ordering these books at the time).

Problem disappears when I select a different country in Photos' preferences, but I can't order because my billing address is located in France.

Many feedbacks and crash reports have been sent to Apple, but no news and the problem persists...

Hope Apple will resolve this quickly!!

Same problem here, from France. Photos crashes as soon as I click on the button "Buy Book".

It seems to be related with french zipcode.

I use photos for professional reasons. Please Apple, this urgent problem need to be fixed.

Thanks. I have also the same problem. I cannot understand how apple can handle both losing money and get its client so frustrated. I worked 24hours on a book and cannot buy it :-( I am also in France. Same pb as others in this forum.

That is really annoying and surprising is that something that worked fine few weeks ago, now no longer works for a tiny —apparently — bug in a value's interpretation! Would not it be possible for Apple to restore the former (server's and/or app's) settings, those that worked before ?!

In fact an alternative solution for French people includes https://www.flexilivre.com/devis/ (I just ordered from them uploading the pdf file of my Photos project. Pretty user friendly and express delivery in 72h. I did try but will receive book at the end of the week. Price seems competitive). Apple has billions of cash so they might not care about our problem. This is too bad because we were apple lovers and start one after the other to be so disappointed that we envision alternate solutions. Really a pity. Thanks LarryHN for your help. best.

The height of absurdity : I receive this afternoon a mail from Apple with a coupon for a 15% rebate on my next 'printed Apple product', valid from the 03/01/2017 (!!!) to.... tomorrow!! And Photos still doesn't work...

It works now! Since when I updated to Sierra 10.12.5.

I'm sure they fixed it in this update since I tried right after updating and Photos crashed. Then I updated my computer, I tried again and I was able to order the print.

Wit enough feedback Apple will see that it is a widespread problem and needs to be fixed urgently.

Is it crashing after you select an address from your contacts, or before you can add any address at all?

You cannot have a book shipped to a different country. And it must not be a post office box address.
