GPS not available in outdoor cycle
Apple Watch, watchOS 3.2
Apple Watch, watchOS 3.2
Hi
The following steps may help:
On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services:
Restart (normally) both your iPhone and your Apple Watch, turning both off together and then restarting your iPhone first:
I am having the same problem, and following the steps suggested did not resolve it.
This has been ongoing since I bought the watch in February, however now that I'm cycling more, it's getting more frustrating that it doesn't seem to track the distance accurately at all.
What is most interesting, is distance tracking works fine for me on both "outdoor walk" and "outdoor run" activities.
Yes - with all three i have my phone with me (in case that makes a difference).
Yesterday, I commuted to work on my bike. The ride is approximately 17 miles. On the ride in, my watch recorded a distance of 252 feet. On the ride home, it said I went 5.73 miles. Both, obviously, are far shorter than the actual distance.
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
