depends what kind of connection you have on your tv. if your tv has a dvi connection, all you need is a dvi cable and a mini-dvi to dvi adaptor. if your tv has hdmi, you'll need a mini-dvi adaptor and a dvi to hdmi adaptor. i'm pretty sure this is what you'll need. someone correct me if i'm wrong. hope it helps.
That would depend on what type of inputs the TV has. Apple sells various adapters for the MacBook to different interfaces such as VGA, DVI (HDMI) and Composite or S-Video.
The plasma screen is a Panasonic model TH-42PWD7. The owners manual shows a computer connection (PC) to a D-sub 15P connector. Between the laptop and the "D-sub 15p" is an adapterrt to a 9 pin connector, then a ferriter core (supplied) and an RGB PC cable, to the D-sub 15p.
The display also has a Serial terminal, which the manual says is for control by a computer.
I wonder if for the Mac one uses a Kensington Serial adapter for the USB port on the Mac.
I have connected my MacBook to a Sony WEGA using Apple's mini-DVI to S video adapter. The picture is not HD but its very good. You also need audio input cables with this set-up.
