Is it possible to download this on this certain mac mini?
Do I have to download a previous windows operating system and upgrade it to windows 10 from there?

ADD: My mac mini is a 64 bit on the mac operating system side.........when i install windows 10, will it need to be 64 bit as well?

You are almost in the same situation as your 2006 iMac with this model as well, as shown in Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support . This model does not support all 64-bit drivers. 2010 models are first models which will support 64-bit drivers.
If you do not need the full resources that BC uses, consider virtualization as an option.
I see.....so can my mac which is a 64 bit on the mac side.......support a 32 bit system for windows 10? If so how is that possible...How can i get run a 32 bit software on a 64 bit hardware system (my mac is 64 bit).
I think BC might be best for me if anything.

After its all set up and its missing some drivers, what do i do then? Is it possible to fill in the missing drivers with a specific program?
I don't think i have windows 7.......so idk if I can truly upgrade from there to W10.....unless you know of a place where i can legally get it?
You can install W7 using an ISO from Microsoft, upgrade it to W10 in-place, and then activate it. I suggest you use W10 32-bit rather than 64-bit to avoid possible driver issues. The hardware is old, so finding drivers under W10 will be difficult, grand-fathering W7 drivers under W10 is much cleaner.
If you ask nicely, and explain what you are trying to do, Microsoft may let you do it.
The other option you have is to use a W8.1 VM and clone it to a physical partition and then upgrade it to W10 and activate.
I get i can only get it from microsoft but i was hoping to get it somewhere for free legally....I am really only using it for a jumping point so i don't get why i should pay for it you know?
Check if you can use your W10 Product Key to download W7 or call Microsoft and explain to them what you want to do.
Do you think microsoft really grants those exceptions?
