Hello guys,
My Macbook pro 15 touchbar, left speaker is blown out (the left speaker is too quit compared to the right one).
I found a lot of articles about a blown speaker, but all the articles blaming bootcamp as the cause.
I've never installed bootcamp on my computer, but still got the problem.
Is there an option too fix it, or just return it to apple?

No not at all sarcastic. I’ve found the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Overall I am happy with Macs at least until the last couple years. This MBP has had a multitude of issues and my iPad pros battery lasts all of about two hours. The watch is pretty much worthless and the air pods sound like dookie. I can’t believe that one guy actually had that big of an impact on a company this size. Talking about Steve Jobs.

Has anyone had success in getting a replacement? I work for Ableton and Surreal Machines, music software companies, and have the same issue. A fix is critical to my work.
I have the same issue, first Touch Bar went dark now the speaker
Brought mine to the service, let’s see if they will replace it by warranty, and what will be replaced..
Let me know what they say. I have the same problem and was hoping warranty would take care of it...
Same exact thing happened to me. Apple says $800 repair. 2 weeks out of warranty.

I having the same exact issues. took my computer to an apple store since I'm out of warranty, close to 800$ for the repair. This might be my first and last MacBook Pro.
I have the exact same problem with my 2016 15inch touch bar macbook pro. The left speaker blown out without bootcamp and im struggling listening music with it.
This seems like an obvious defect with these computers then. Apple should be replacing this part free of charge.
If I was you I would put up a stink. Send emails call who you have to and go into the store and argue loudly while lots of customers are there.

I have exactly same problem, left speaker is super quite, and right speaker is ok, but when i make them loud, then left speaker stops making sound. and right one changes to make mono sound
There's got to be a way to escalate this. We shouldn't be paying for a manufacturer defect.
