Recently I bought an iTunes card in Germany to add money to my iTunes account to pay Apple music. However, I normally live in The Netherlands but I am currently on my exchange semester here in Germany. I tried to redeem the iTunes card but it was not possible since the iTunes cards are country-bound. Is there any possibility to still redeem this card on my Dutch AppleID?
No, all iTunes gift cards are country-specific, you won't be able to redeem a German card onto a Dutch account. But whilst you are in Germany you can only use the German store (being in a country is part of the store's terms, trying to use another country's store can result in the account being permanently disabled), so if you put your German billing address on your account you should be able to redeem it
Okay but in order to change my billing address I have to use my current balance and I must cancel my Apple music subscription. Are there any other ways to make use of this card?
