aperture in high sierra?

I tested it on iMac MC309LL/A, and MacBook Pro MC721LL/A. Both with 8gb of RAM. It slow in general, like you moving a slider, and it freezing like on every steps of this moving.
Aperture waits until you done with that slider and then starts processing.

Full Screen mode on the MacBook Air (2014) & macOS High Sierra is working fine.

I've used tools to brush in adjustments & moved the cursor to try and replicate your issue, everything is ok.

Do want me to try anything else if it helps eliminate a scenario?

Perhaps it depends on the architecture of the Mac. I am seeing it on both my MacBook Pros, mid 2015. I do not even need to try to apply an adjustment. I cannot one the cursor without leaving tracks, as soon as I open Full Screen Mode. Restarting does not help.

same here no problem with F Keywork and no cursor traces during adjustment in Fullscreen mode (Skin Smothing) on both my iMac and MacBook Pro. Info about both Macs in my profile is correct.

I am ready too to try anything else if helps.

Our Macs are having a similar processor:

but a slightly different model.

I noticed, the problem occurs only, if I set the System Preferences > Display of the MacBookPro to the "default for Display" resolution. If I switch to "Full Resolution", the full screen mode is working better.

We would have absolutely no idea at this point. Unless Apple discloses features, anything would be a guess.

Anybody care to comment about High Sierra compatibility with Aperture now that it is "legal." 😉

I can launch Aperture on High Sierra, no changes, as far as I can tell.

Did you change your disk format to the APFS (Apple File System), or are you still using HFS? I'm thinking of holding off on the APFS for a while, but not sure yet.
