If you can't enroll any of your fingers, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support.

Thanks for sending that article along, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to provide a solution to the issue. I have the same problem as the person above. My battery died on Saturday, and when I turned my phone on about an hour later after charging, it said "Touch ID - Unable to activate Touch ID on this iPhone." When I go into my privacy settings to turn Touch ID on, it instantly says "Failed - Unable to complete Touch ID setup" and the "Add a fingerprint" option is grey and unclickable. Is this something that requires an Apple representative to take a look?
