Will charging with apple 12W charger be okay for ipod nano 7th gen 2015 model?

is the 12W/2ampre charger okay to use on ipod nano 7th gen 2015 edition? I know it works but im concerned the ampres is to high

iPod nano (7th generation, Mid 2015)

The device has circuitry designed to only take as much power as it requires and no more. There is absolutely no harm in using the 12 Watt charger with an iPod Nano.

It wont even charge the phone faster let alone do any damage, it is 2017 now, you know that don't you?

Thanks, i know Apple is the definition of quality and innovation so this does not surprise me at all. Being a Vapor (quit smoking 14 months ago) the 18650s i use have a strict range of voltage & ampres to recharge the batteries within. So ADDITIONAL question: What if someone's using a NON-Apple charger...whats the amp limit .5, 1, 2, 2.4? I know the iPod (like most devices) has some type of regulator inside but im sure there's a recommended rating.
