For no reason that I know of. My icloud contacts and calendar quit upadating to outlook. I have followed the procedures of uninstalling and reinstalling icloud for windows on my pc. I have done the sync. No icloud info in outlook? What next.

There was an iCloud update version released today.

I unistalled icloud completetley from my pc and re installed the updated version and it works now.

I still have the problem that the iCloud complements in Outlook get inactive everytime I close Outlook, but if activate them mannualy, it syncs well.

I have exactly the same issue, it's very annoying. Noone seems to have a fix.

Calendar and Contacts sync perfectly from my Outlook (PC) to iCloud and my iPhone, but not from my iPhone to Outlook. It does go from my iPhone to my iPad though, so it seems to be a iCloud-to-Outlook issue only.

You have to use an app-specific password to connect Outlook to iCloud - please see my post above.

Which Microsoft update do I need to uninstall? I received 54 on July 27 and that is when my problems started. Also, my Favorites disappeared. This is maddening. Can you help?

Also... this has nothing to do with icloud because I do not use icloud for anything. iTunes just links to outlook 2010 on my computer and updates - well not anymore.

I have the same issue and created the two step authentication and an app specific password. Where in MS Outlook 2016 would I enter this app specific password?

You enter it instead of your normal iCloud password in the usual place.

You have to generate and use (in place of your normal iCloud password) an 'app-specific' password as detailed in earlier posts in this thread.

Has there been any further resolution to this problem. Microsoft forced a Windows update on me this week and I've had no iCloud in my Outlook since. I've tried many things but no luck yet . . .

found a fix: unistall iCloud for Windows totally. And re-install it. It's a pain and affects a lot of settings that need to be redone, but at least it works now.

I just wonder what I lost though.....

Same problem here. Performed the two step verification and nothing changed. Looked for the update on my system and could not find it.

Went to Program and found updates. Did a search on updates and the KB 2956078 was not there.
