iPhone 6s stuck in recovery mode

My iPhone has been stuck in recovery mode since I accidentally closed my laptop screen while downgrading from iOS 11 beta to iOS 10.3.2. I've tried everything and even contacted apple (I thought the problem was gone but it wasn't), but whenever I try to restore it, it just goes right back to the recovery mode screen. Please help!!!

Hi to everyone! So, after some cogitations, I've discover one thing: few days ago Apple produced iOS 10.3.3 beta 4. So if you don't like raw and with many bugs iOS 11 beta 2, you can download iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 and install it. Procedure the same.

Recently I tried to downgrade to my previous iOS 10.3.2 but it drops to Recovery Mode Loop again and again. After flashing 10.3.3 b4 everything's fine!

Best regards! 🙂

Hi! You shouldn't reinstall it. Better install iOS 10.3.3 beta 4. It's stable and without lags.

1. Download ipsw file iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 for your device.

2. Get the latest iTunes.

3. Put your phone to DFU or it sometimes works in Recovery Mode. If it's in recovery than try it first.

4. launch iTunes. Connect your device. iTunes tell you that your device in recovery mode or DFU. It depends on you.

5. On Mac hold Alt and press repair iPhone. Than select downloaded image. On PC hold Shift and click to recover iPhone and select image.

That's all.

Where did YOU download it? If it wasn't from Apple's beta site (which requires that you be a registered developer) the copy you have is illegal, as there is no public beta for iOS 11 yet.

However, doing a DFU update using iTunes should still work to restore your device to 10.3.2. If you describe exactly how you tried to use DFU mode someone should be able to help you.

The solution is all over the place on this thread. For some reason the phone won't restore to 10.2 which is the current version iTunes downloads. There's an official link somewhere up in this thread that I used.

Put your phone in recovery mode (if it's looping then you're good), download the 10.3.3 beta, option click restore in iTunes (if using a mac), select the .ipsw file you just downloaded, and then it'll restore correctly.

Long and short answer. The best reliable method that works is to flash iOS public beta (developer beta 2) if your phone is stuck in recovery. It magically works. If you installed public beta, there is no way you can downgrade to the stable version. Some have claimed that the 10.3.3 beta downgrade works (simply flash the 10.3.3 public beta). I haven't tried that yet but many people do claim it works. Realized the hard way that Public beta is NOT A DAILY DRIVER! Usually Apple's beta builds are stable, but I highly recommend people to stay away from iOS 11 public beta unless its something you really want to test. DO NOT use it as a daily driver UNLESS you want to test drive it.

Sorry.

No I have not downgraded to 10.3.3

, every time I restore or update an error code comes up before it is about to finish on iTunes.

I was able to get it to restore again with the iOS 11 Beta 2 ipsw firmware file.

So now it’s not stuck in the screen with the iTunes and plug.

I fixed this problem but if your looking how to downgrade from beta 11 to 10.3.3 I haven’t figured that out yet but I’m working on it.

From all I gathered after spending 10 + hours trying to downgrade all the ipsw files are not the same format when I was trying to fix my phone some ipsw files were off by a simple letter in the file but I could be wrong....still trying tho.
