If you haven't already contacted iTunes Support via the URL in the message you should do so (these are user-to-user forums, not iTunes Support, we won't know why the message is showing on your account) :

- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww

- click on your country's flag (the country where you are, and which is therefore the country on your account)

- click on Contact Support towards the top right

- click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us'

Or use this form : https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

My husband and I both got this msg when trying to send iTunes gift cards by email. Support told him his account was frozen due to a random security audit (?) I was told Apple has halted $200 e-cards because of holiday scams and that I had to buy a physical card instead. i tried a $100 e-card and got the same msg to contact Apple Support. What gives? This is really annoying two days before Christmas.
