I've the same problem with the X-85. Tried Apple
Helpline but that proved useless. Deleted all the
plist files but nothing. If you work it out let me
know. Currentkly I have to download docs to a usb
flash disk and print from a PC!!!!

After installation, the following dialog box will be displayed:
When you click the Open Print Center button, the Print Center application should be launched. However, this will not happen in Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger).
Explanation
In Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger), the Print Center application has been renamed the Printer Setup Utility.
Resolution
To add the printer manually to the list of printers, do the following:
1. Right-click on the Printer Setup Utility and select Get Info.
2. Place a checkmark in the Open using Rosetta checkbox, and restart the computer.
3. Launch the Printer Setup Utility.
4. Click Add.
5. Click More Printers.
6. Select Lexmark X83/X84/X85 as appropriate from the drop-down menu.
7. Select Lexmark X83/X84/X85 as appropriate.
8. Click the Add button. The printer is now included in the Printer list.
