They won't work. Because the iPhone won't connect to a laptop (God knows why that is) I can't erase the phone through iTunes.
I have erased it through iCloud find my iPhone but the phone isn't connected to the internet so it's not erasing.
I need to find another way to reset the iPhone
Sorry but those are all of the methods. You may want to try the recovery mode method with a different computer (that has iTunes installed) or take it to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider as discussed in the previously supplied link.
