Is Skype really installed in my MacBook air?

I downloaded the Skype software and installed it on my MacBook air. It seems it was installed on my mac but It looks weird when I run it. The installed Skype icon is on my desktop. Whenever I open it, it leads to a folder ( see the picture 1). If I click the "application" icon, it goes to the application folder. If I click the Skype icon, It appears a warning ( see the picture 2). What are they ?

You need to drag the blue "S" on the left to the "Applications Folder" on the right. Until it is in your Apps folder, it will keep coming up like that since it is a mountable disk.

Once you drag it over, you should be good to go. Open it from your Apps folder, and put it on your Dock, if you wish.
