How to record analog audio directly through the usb-c port without external audio interface on new MacBook Pro?

I would like to start streaming my DJ sets live on Facebook (using OBS). I read somewhere that USB-C has analog audio, which made me think that one should be able to skip an external audio interface when recording audio.

I have an analog DJ-mixer with RCA out, which is converted to 3.5, which is converted to USB-C.

My computer is a new MacBook Pro 15-inch (2017) with four USB-C and one 3.5 out.

How can I make my Mac recognise analog audio?

Many thanks!! 🙂
