I just bought an iPhone 7 and forgot the password I made for it. It now says my iPhone is disabled and that I need to connect it to iTunes but when I try connecting it to iTunes, iTunes says that the value is not found. what does this mean and how can I get onto or reset my iPhone without using iTunes? also I had my fingerprint in my phone but that doesn't work either.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (12.6) from https://apple.com/itunes. It requires Windows 7 or later, or Mac OS 10.9.5 or later.
Thank you. I have looked at this and my phone doesn't let me connect it with iTunes and I haven't set up recovery mode or iCloud.
Tried this. It comes up with the recovery mode thing but at the end of either restoring or updating it, iTunes still says that my phone can't be connected to iTunes as the value is missing.
I downloaded the latest iTunes, still isn't working but thank you.
