I know about Command + Tab to toggle between open programs, but if I have two or more running Google Chrome windows I will only be able to go to the last visited. In MS Windows it appears several instances in the bar but in my MacBook it shows only one.

Yes, command-tab toggles between open programs, while command-tilde toggles open windows in a program. It's hard to imagine a Mac keyboard without the tilde key, as it is important when writing file paths as in ~/Library/Preferences.
I´ve solved the problem through a third party software, Witch. It works just like I want!
However I still wonder why I can´t use Apples own solution? Please see the attached picture of my MacBook Swedish Keyboard and tell me which key combinations to strike.
Sorry, but it dosn´t work. I´ve tried both US and SE keyboard settings. In your sample I have the key greater than and lesser than.
When do you mean I should press the command + tilde key? If I press command + tab the programbar shows all open programs like word, excel, chrome etc. My problem is it shows only one instance of chrome even if I have two windows running. I like to toggle btw the two chrome windows with key strikes.

But, I don't know if that will help with the combination of keys needed for the command to toggle windows. I know you already have a solution but as I do use files paths and at times use Terminal, it bothers me that this essential key should not be on the keyboard.
The tilde key is the same as the ` key.

Well, I know the sign tilde, but on my Swedish keyboard it there is no such key. Even if I change to a US keyboard I cannot find the tilde key. Pleas advice where it is.
You can also try command + # . Where # is the number of the tab from left to right.

Yes I can get a tilde sign through ALT + ¨. BUT I still can´t toggle if I press CMD + ALT + ~.
So it is, but I´m happy with Witch.
