Do I need battery adhesive strips for a battery replacement?
if you perform the battery replacement yourself, just know that you are taking yourself out of any sort of warranty and help that an official Apple specialist can give you. it's in your best interest to take it to an Apple store.

Again, you absolutely should not proceed this way. iPhones are not user serviceable.
If you do this, and the device fails after doing it, Apple will almost certainly refuse to help you.
that decision is completely up to you at that point. just know that if any further issues occur regarding the battery that Apple will turn you away because it was not serviced by them and so they cannot guarantee any sort of working status of the replacement.

Do you have the money to replace the phone if you break it while attempting to perform repairs that it sounds like you have no experience doing?
Perform a battery replacement only by taking the iPhone to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. They will not use any visible strips.
No I have all the parts to do it just not the strips and I was wondering do I need them like would it ca damage without it ?
